Thank you for submitting your application!

Q

I've just submitted my application. What happens now?

Since you are part of the first group of applicants, we have provided a timeline with deadlines which include how long we will need to review applications, the date in which we will be communicating our decisions and, if you are accepted, when we will need to receive your signed copy of the contract.

Q

How do you choose artists?

Our selection is based on several criteria, and is not a “first come first served” system. Some of these include:

  • No traced or AI generated images

  • Originality and creativity

  • Craftsmanship

  • Variety of products

  • Compliments the shop branding and message

Q

Not at all! We always aim to keep the process welcoming for emerging artists, and showing strength in even one of the criteria mentioned below can be enough to be selected.

Q

Congrats! Once you’re accepted, we’ll work together on booking a 10-15 minute call with you on your preferred method of contact. We’ll then provide you with your contract, which will need to be signed before the current deadline (this can also be found on the Artist Application page). You’ll then have a minimum of 3 weeks to decide on stock, prices, how you’d like to decorate your shelves, display items, if you’d like to do the initial set up, etc…

This will also give us plenty of time to schedule in marketing and letting everyone know that you’ll be joining us!

Q

This means that, while we love your work and know it will do great in the shop, sadly we don’t have any space to accommodate you at the moment. This can change, and if it does, we will reach out to let you know! If you would like to know what number you have been assigned, please feel free to contact us via contact@pixelpaper-shop.com.

Q

Do I need to have a large following on social media to be accepted?

I’ve been accepted! What happens next?

I’ve been put on a waiting list! What does that mean?

I’ve been rejected! What happens now? Can I re-apply again?

We’re so sorry you’ve been rejected! Sadly, we aren’t able to accept everyone that applies. We received a lot more applicants than we were expecting, so naturally there would be a small number of artists who wouldn’t pass our screening process. But please don’t feel disheartened! This is in no way a reflection on you or your art, we just don’t think you’re currently a good fit for the shop. HOWEVER, like all artists, we’re always learning, improving and evolving, so PLEASE feel free to apply again at a later date!

Q

I have a question that isn’t here!

Yeah sorry about that(´∇`'')those are all the questions we could think of right now, but if you’d like to know more, there are many ways in which you can reach out to us!
